This trilobite bears an obvious resemblence to its earlier Silurian cousin, Trimerus delphinocephalus, despite the obvious changes in the overall ecosystem, including the rise of jawed fish as prominent predators. Apparently staying buried in the mud was as effective a defense against jawed fish as it was against nautiluses and euryptids.

This trilobite has one minor flaw -- there is a small chip in the trilobite where the right eye should be.
