Whatever trilobites did in the Devonian, they did it earlier in the Ordovician. This large Dalmanitid trilobite lived long before Huntontoniatonia or Zlichovaspis.
Although this species had schizochroal eyes like all member of the Dalmanitidae, the lenses have very poor preservation.
