There are a couple of thoracic segments missing just behind the head. But most of the trilobite is present, and is in excellent condition. There is a lot to see. Note the fringes of tiny spines on both the leading and trailing edges of the middle thoracic segments. Also note the small spines on the genal spines and on the outer macropleural spines. This genus is readily identified by the posterior, where the pygidium has over a dozen radiating spines and overlying them are a pair of macropleural spines from the last two thoracic segments.
This is a very rare and highly sought after species, so it was sensible to go for this less than perfect specimen.
