Notes

Like all the trilobite survivors of the late Devonian mass extinctions, this is a a humble, ordinary looking proetid.

The free cheeks are disarticulated, especially on the right side, but this trilobite is complete and the preparation quality is high. The right free cheek preserves a portion of the optical surface of the right eye and preserved lenses can be seen. It is rare to see the lenses of the holochroal eyes of proetids.
