Notes
This is a small but elegant new species of Acanthopyge, currently without a formal description. The rocks at Jorf are partially metamorphized, giving many of the trilobites there a smooth, plasticy appearance, including this one. I suspect that in life this was more pustular than its current preservation suggests.
