The preparation on this specimen is outstanding. Tiny spines that are usually abraded away during preparation are preserved. There are short spines on the genal spines and even on the abdomen. The air abrasion was done with a finer nozzle, lower air pressure, and a softer abrasive than is usually used. This takes several times longer than conventional preparation.
