Notes
The inclusion in the Asteropyginae is provisional, this trilobite has some features that would place it in the subfamily Acastavinae. This trilobite is of course most famous for its giant rostrum. The brown color in the pygidium is due to staining by iron rich water, which also stains the nearby rock.
